Test: Laser Rangefinders

Christmas is coming and who has not the right gift for your loved ones could possibly think about buying a rangefinder.

For a long time top dog on the rangefinder market it was supplanted by the cheaper Bushnell. Again, there are different models. The range goes from 1 to GX-GX-4. Unfortunately, all relatively expensive. The GX-2 and 4 both have a slope mode, GX-4 when you can disable it with a key to the device to be used in tournaments. Who needs it. The flagship cost then they're just 480,-EUR;)

Then there's the Nikon 350G or 550G (lowest price: Amazon 198,-EUR):
The 350G is the device that I own myself for 3 months. Works well and easily as the other models. At that time it was in the offer to have a "golf package" for 183,-EUR. Here then was a neoprene sleeve and a pocket for a golf bag. In addition, some tea and a Nikon's plastic pitch fork;) Amazon is really cheap here, because everywhere else the device will cost about 260, - EUR up. I am using the 350G IST 100% satisfied, I had doubts but only to acquire the quasi outsiders. But Nikon is known to have a prestigious company and the Pinseeker mode works perfectly.Within 1-2 seconds I got the distance!In my opinion, the clear winner in this collection. All devices listed are standard equipment are relatively close together, but the price just speaks clearly for the Nikon350G.Here, not far from covering all devices. If you really want to buy a Range Finder should, furthermore still inquire about search engine on the net, seek advice and try out various models in the pro shop or golf shop.In the square there's been a tremendous help. I think especially for distances below 120 meters and it is very convenient. I'm just trying Pelzs'chen with the method (see article), to cover all distances well. By summer I will have on it:) There is a range finder that works quickly and accurately duty ...so long, Cpt Ho0k
